@RP131 - Deaths Thread - 19/02/2021

This is an extended version of the daily 'Deaths' thread I post to twitter. This includes all the content from the twitter thread, along with additional material that has been trimmed to avoid bombarding people's timelines.

[1/24] Dashboard for 19-Feb to explain where the #covid19uk total death increase figure of 533 actually comes from. The PHE dataset merge resulted in a net of 166 additional deaths today. This brings the 7 day rolling average DOWN by 32.1 to 519.
[2/24] Date of Death chart for UK.
[3/24] Date of Death chart for UK nations.
[4/24] Date of Death chart for England regions.
[5/24] Date of Death chart for England regions drawn with 7 day rolling averages.
[6/24] Date of death chart for England regions drawn with 7 day rolling averages of deaths per 1M population.
[7/24] Date of death chart for UK nations drawn with 7 day rolling averages of deaths per 1M population.
[8/24] Full version since March of date of death chart for UK nations drawn with 7 day rolling averages of deaths per 1M population.
[9/24] Full version since March of date of death chart for England regions drawn with 7 day rolling averages of deaths per 1M population.
[10/24] England region date of death chart with curves from first wave roughly overlaid.
[11/24] England date-of-death vs. announcement chart. Note that the numbers drop at the end as data is still being actively reported for those dates.
[12/24] Full version since March.
[13/24] Pivot for 19-Feb to show breakdown of both 315 NHS and 166 (net) PHE deaths by date of death. The negatives are a combination of date of death corrections and accounting for NHS deaths that were already known to PHE. Small version for twitter first:
[14/24] Full version available here: https://coviddatasha...ot_PHE_20210219.html
[15/24] Chart form of dates of death in the last 30 days (ignoring some of the corrections noise from earlier in the year).
[16/24] Full date of death chart (most of the noise earlier in the year is likely due to dataset merge errors and/or corrections).
[17/24] England all settings age distribution chart.
[18/24] England all settings age distribution chart (percentage view).
[19/24] England all settings age distribution chart per 1M population.
[20/24] England regional age percentage distribution chart for latest 7 days data to see if there is any variation between regions.
[21/24] Breakdown of today's newly reported England deaths by region. Note that this data (483) doesn't always quite add up to the total England number they announce (481) possibly due to data merging issues. However I still think it's useful to see the general distribution.
[22/24] Regional death data again but normalised to number of deaths per 1M population.
[23/24] Original style pivot with just NHS data (where this whole thing started!).
[24/24] Updated chart from 31-Oct lockdown press conference with latest England date-of-death data (latest 4 days faded out for lag).
